Where is the Jacksonville Misdemeanor Probation Office?

For years, the Salvation Army supervised misdemeanor probation in Jacksonville, FL and Duval County.  However, last year the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) undertook the unenviable task of supervising all misdemeanor probation cases in Jacksonville.  Unfortunately, this lead to much confusion, as JSO was unable to adequately communicate where its office would be located as well as basic contact information.  This confusion lead to unwarranted criminal charges for Violation of Probation as well as a host of unnecessary and burdensome issues for individuals trying their best to complete the necessary conditions of their probation.

Currently the JSO Misdemeanor Probation Program Main Office is located at:

               Jacksonville Re-Entry Center
               1024 Superior Street
               Jacksonville, FL 32254

Hours of Operation:

               7 a.m. –4 p.m., Monday though Friday

Program Contact Information:

               Main Office Phone Number:  904-630-8510
               Fax Number: 904-630-1120
               Email Address:  JSOMPP@jaxsheriff.org

If you have been sentenced to misdemeanor probation in Jacksonville, it is essential that you contact the office above immediately to make sure you are still compliant with the terms of your probation.  If your probation has been violated, it is critical that you speak with an experienced criminal defense attorney who can determine any viable defenses you may have as well the know-how to guide you through this process.

Rainka Law has handled thousands of Violation of Probation cases and is equipped with the legal expertise to assist you with this issue.

Can a Petty Theft in Florida Charge be Dropped?
Petty Theft in Florida is simply the act of taking the property of an individual or entity. The term “petty theft” implies that this particular crime is not serious. However, quite often, this is not the case. Petty theft can be charged as a misdemeanor, or felony, depending on the number of prior petty theft convictions. Therefore, it is imperative that a petty theft conviction is prevented or that these charges be dropped completely in order to avoid potential felony charges.
